The Management of Lens Polytechnic Offa has lauded the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation for extending its philanthropic strides to the Polytechnic lower cadre staff.
The Foundation on Monday, December 12, 2023, visited the institution to give cash empowerment to lower-cadre staff as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and Cash Support Scheme to the masses.
The Proprietor, Dr. Azeez Yisa Bukky describes the gesture as a core humanitarian service to ameliorate poverty and bring succour to the people at the grassroots. The Proprietor appreciates the Founder of MOK Foundation, Alhaji Muhydeen Okunlola for his giant donations and empowerment to the less privileged.
Speaking further, the Proprietor noted that the Institution had earlier benefited from the Foundation’s solar-powered streetlights project. He said the empowerment gesture is another largesse from the MOK to the Lens Polytechnic community which is profoundly appreciated.
While delivering the cash to the beneficiaries, the Proprietor prays for the MOK Foundation to continue to progress and experience breakthroughs in all its subsequent humanitarian interventions and urges the beneficiaries to utilise the cash donations judiciously.
In his reaction, Alhaji Muhudeen Okunlola Kayode represented by Mr. Saheed Lawal said the Foundation spreads its humanitarian services across all boards which includes cash disbursement to support SMEs, education scholarship scheme to the less privileged, health care support, security beef-up, sports interventions, empowerment to PWDs, agricultural implements and food production support among others with large heterogeneous beneficiaries in Offa and Oyun Local Governments.
