NAFDAC Grants Certificate Of Listing To FEDPOFFA For Table Water Production
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has granted a certificate of listing to the Federal Polytechnic Offa for table and sachet water production.
The certificate approved on 21st December 2023 gives the Federal Polytechnic Offa a full license to go into production.
The Rector, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE while expressing his satisfaction and optimism as FEDPOFFA Water reaches commercialization phase noted that the water project aims to provide clean and safe drinking water to the Polytechnic, various households, and businesses in the community. He added that the sachet water is fully ready for market as all requirements have been considered, including the inspection and certification by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
According to him, “This project exemplifies our commitment to social responsibility and community development. FEDPOFFA Water is part of this administration’s dedication and commitment to meeting the immediate needs of the community and at the same time generating revenue for the growth of our institution. We have commenced production, and we are fully ready to go into the market. ”
Dr. Kadiri therefore commended the tremendous efforts of the Principal Officers, Director of Poly Consult, Ag. Director of Works and Services and other key players who played an active role in ensuring the water project was successful.
