Ibolo Peace Parley Mourns Senator Rafiu Ibrahim

Describes his death a monumental loss to Ibolo Land, Kwara State

Ibolo peace parley a group that brings together all the communities in Offa and Oyun Local Government Areas in Kwara State mourn the sudden death of one of their illustrious sons , Senator Rafiu Ibrahim which sad occurrence happened today the 17th April, 2024.

In a statement issued by the General Secretary of the group Chief Rafiu Oyeyemi Balogun , SAN , the late Senator is described as an accomplished politician with uncommon great virtues , a philanthropist of note and a worthy community leader . “ He was a great man , an enigma, he touched many lives and devoted his life to serving humanity to the best of his ability . His impact was well felt not only in his town Ojoku but throughout the Kwara South Senatorial District and the entire Kwara State at large. He was a brilliant politician with heart of gold and an astute Banker. He brought his wealth of experience to bear in policy formulation when he served as the Chairman of Senate Committe on Banking when he was the Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District in the Senate. His death is a monumental loss to Ibolo land and Kwara State at large .

The statement noted that :
“ The president of the Parley, Engr. Bashir Lawal FNSE commiserates with His Royal Majesty Olojoku of Ojoku, the Executive Council of Ojoku Descendants Union , his immediate and extended families and the entire people of Ojoku Community on the devastating occurrence. He prayed that Almighty God overlook his shortcomings and admit him to Aljanah Firdaws.”
