Lens Poly Offa Management Commiserates With Ilemona Community On Passage Of Monarch

The Management, Staff, and Students of the Lens Polytechnic Offa has commiserated with the family of Elemona of Ilemona, Oba Yusuf Omokanye Oyekanmi l, and the entire Ilemona community on the passage of the great monarch.

This was contained in a release signed by the Proprietor, Dr. Yisa Azeez Saturday 18 of May 2024.

The release reads: “The Management, Staff, and Students of the Lens Polytechnic Offa commiserate with the family of Elemona of Ilemona, Oba Yusuf Omokanye Oyekanmi l, and the entire Ilemona community on the passage of the great monarch.

“Kabiesi lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation, left successful children, and used his highly revered throne to foster unity, and peaceful co-existence in the Ibolo Kingdom. The death of Kabiesi Elemona is a colossal loss not only to the immediate family but to the entire Ibolo kingdom and his impact on peace, progress, and development of the Ibolo land will dearly be missed.

“The Polytechnic will greatly miss the fatherly role always played by Kabiesi towards the growth and development of Lens institutions and his giant strides for the development of Ilemona community will forever etched in memory.

“The Management thanks almighty Allah for his peaceful and successful reign and prays that the Ilemona community will continue to enjoy the legacy of peace, serenity, and growth left behind by the late Kabiesi.

“May Almighty Allah grant the family, entire people of Ilemona, Ibolo communities, and Kwara State at large the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. May Allah grant him Aljanat Fridaus.
