MOK Foundation Commiserates With Ilemona Community On Passage of Monarch
The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation extends its deepest condolences to the people of Ilemona in Oyun Local Government Area on the demise of His Royal Highness Oba Yusuf Omokanye Oyekanmi.
This was contained in a press statement on Saturday, signed by the Director of the Foundation, Mr. Saheed Lawal.
The revered monarch passed away on Saturday, May 18, at the age of 95.
It reads, “the Foundation acknowledges the significant contributions of Oba Oyekanmi to the development and unity of Ilemona and the entire Kwara State.
“His leadership, wisdom, and dedication to his community will be greatly missed.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the sons and daughters of Ilemona, particularly the immediate family of the late Oba, including Honourable Toye Yusuf, a member of the Kwara State House of Assembly representing Odo-Ogun State Constituency, and Col. Nurudeen Yusuf, the aide-de-camp to the President.
“We pray that Allaah grants the esteemed Oba Yusuf Omokanye Oyekanmi al-jannah Firdaus and provides solace to everyone who is mourning this profound loss.”
