MOK Foundation Restores Vital Water Source in Gaa Oko Awo In Irepodun LG

The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has successfully restored a critical water source in Gaa Oko Awo, a community in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

This is a move to address water scarcity in rural communities.

This restoration forms part of the foundation’s broader initiative to rehabilitate boreholes across seven local government areas within the Kwara South Senatorial District.

The recent effort in Gaa Oko Awo is a continuation of the foundation’s commitment to ensuring that residents in underserved areas have access to clean and safe water.

Prior to this, the MOK Foundation had carried out similar repair works on boreholes in Alubata Oju Irin and Abogunugun Hospital, both located in Offa LGA.

In addition to these efforts, the foundation has also restored a significant water borehole at the Diocese of Igbomina, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, St. Andrews Anglican Church, Edidi, in Isin Local Government Area.

These initiatives are aimed at alleviating the challenges faced by these communities due to the lack of adequate water supply.
