MOK Foundation: Reflecting on an Impactful 2024

In 2024, MOK Foundation made remarkable strides in transforming lives and uplifting communities across Kwara State and beyond. Through our unwavering commitment to key sectors like education, healthcare, agriculture, empowerment, and sports, we impacted thousands of lives and fostered sustainable development.

Education remained at the core of our mission, with thousands of students receiving scholarships for WAEC, JAMB, and Junior WAEC examinations. Tertiary institution students also benefited from financial aid, mentorship, and academic resources, ensuring they had the support needed to excel in their studies.

In healthcare, we partnered with five hospitals to provide free medical services to underserved communities, ensuring thousands had access to quality care.

Agriculture played a critical role in addressing hunger and promoting sustainability. We distributed essential farm inputs to local farmers and cultivated 50 hectares of farmland, with the harvest shared among the less privileged, fostering community well-being.

Our empowerment programs extended financial and material support to market women, small-scale business owners, and people living with disabilities, promoting inclusivity and economic growth. Additionally, we sponsored advanced ICT training for beneficiaries and facilitated business registrations, helping entrepreneurs formalize and grow their ventures.

Sports and infrastructure development also featured prominently in 2024. We supported local teams, organized tournaments, and renovated facilities like the Offa Township Stadium to promote youth engagement and community cohesion. Infrastructure upgrades, including borehole renovations and school toilet rehabilitations, further improved living conditions in various communities.

These milestones were achieved under the visionary leadership of our founder, Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, whose passion and dedication remain the driving force behind our work. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our team, volunteers, and supporters, whose tireless efforts have brought our vision to life.

As we close 2024, we celebrate these achievements and reaffirm our commitment to empowering lives, fostering sustainable development, and creating lasting change across Kwara State and beyond. Together, we look forward to making an even greater impact in 2025.
