ODUNA Decade of Medical Interventions: Offa Elites Club Commends ODUNA, OMC

The Offa Descendant Union North America (ODUNA) has achieved a remarkable milestone, celebrating ten years of enhancing medical service delivery to the people of Offa and its environs.

In a bid to promote African culture and values, while providing essential healthcare services to underserved communities, the Offa Descendant Union North America (ODUNA) has been making waves with its life-changing medical outreach project.

As a non-political, philanthropic, socio-cultural organization, ODUNA has been dedicated to assisting new African immigrants in adjusting to life in the United States, while promoting African culture and values.

Through its medical and philanthropic gestures, ODUNA has significantly impacted many, reaching countless disadvantaged individuals in need of medical attention.

According to sources, ODUNA has donated several medical equipment to various hospitals, including Offa General Hospital, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), and Offa Metropolitan (OMC) Hospital among many others.

The Offa Elites Club has expressed its deepest gratitude to ODUNA for their kindness and generosity. Sheikh Mustapha Ismail Abefe, the Chief Imam of Masjid Noor Central Mosque, praised ODUNA’s commitment to the wellness of the people of Offa during a Jumu’at service sermon held today; 24th January, 2025 at Mosjid Noor Central Mosque, Olofa-Way Offa.

Imam Sheikh Abefe highlighted ODUNA’s and Offa Metropolitan Club (OMC) intervention during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, providing financial assistance of #10,000 cash to over 1000 artisan members in Offa, an act which shall never be forgotten by the Artisan union.

Also, Alabi Qozim Diekola (MCPN), President of Offa Elites Club, commended ODUNA’s selfless service to the community for making life easier for Offa people without religion or tribal discrimination.

ODUNA’s dedication to serving humanity is an inspiration to all, with their selfless efforts, making significant impacts on countless lives in Offa and beyond.

Consequently, a special prayer was organized for the executive and all members of ODUNA and OMC after the jumu’at service by the chief Imam, Sheikh Mustapha Ismail Abefe, the Nakib-IL-Ashraf of Offa kingdom and the Chief Missioner; Janwar Society of Nigeria.

In a call to action, The President, Offa Elites Club; ALABI Diekola has urged well-meaning Offa indigenes, both home and abroad, to join and support ODUNA’s objectives, expanding their reach and bringing hope and healing to more disadvantaged people of Offa and its environs.

By supporting ODUNA’s lofty ideas, individuals can contribute to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need, promoting a culture of philanthropy and community service, Alabi stressed.
