Senator Saliu Mustapha responds to suspension of project by Kwara Govt.
Turaki of Ilorin and Senator representing Kwara Central has reacted to the recent suspension of the Sulu-Gambari Pavilion project by the officials of KWGIS.
Senator Saliu Mustapha responded in an official release on Sunday 9 February 2025. The release addressed explained the rationale behind the suspension noting that the contractor did not take approval from the State Govt before moving to the site.
Speaking further, he stated that the contractor violated essential protocols by failing to obtain legal permits from the appropriate agencies which constitutes a breach of legal requirements. He therefore reiterated his commitment to following due process and ensuring that all projects under his oversight adhere strictly to the established regulations and standards.
