FEDPOFFA Bottled-water Factory Ready For Production
More developmental projects in pipeline- Rector
As part of its developmental measures to increase its Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), the Federal Polytechnic Offa has completed moves to commence production of bottled-water for commercialisation.
The Rector made this known on Monday 10 February 2025 at the Polytechnic mini campus during the test running of the newly acquired multimillion-naira bottled-water making machine.
Engr. Dr. Kadiri expressed delight at the successful completion of the project and assured the Polytechnic Community that more developmental projects are already in the pipeline.
He disclosed that the water project was funded with IGR, adding that Fedpoffa bottled-water will soon be ready for full commercialization within and outside the Polytechnic.
Reacting to this development, the Director of Poly Consult, Dr. Kolawole Ibikunle said the development is another laudable achievement of the present administration.
Speaking further, he noted that the water project is part of the Rector’s agenda to boost the IGR of the Polytechnic.
“The project commenced shortly after his assumption of duty and Fedpoffa sachet water has been in circulation in less than a year in office,” he said.
While speaking on the objective of the water factory, the Director said that aside from generating IGR for the Polytechnic, the water project will equally provide employment opportunities for the residents of the host communities.
