ICPC Commends FEDPOFFA On Ethics and Integrity Compliance
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has commended the management of the Federal Polytechnic Offa for substantial compliance on the Ethics and Integrity scorecard.
The commission in a letter signed by the Chairman, Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu SAN rated the Polytechnic 78.93% after analysing and assessing the institution’s documents.
The letter reads, “Sequel to the deployment, scoring, and ratings of assessed MDAs, your documents were analysed and your institution had a score of 78.93…The commission commends your institution for the structure and processes you have in place which promote efficiency and encourage management to provide enabling environment for the Anti-corruption Transparency Unit (ACTU) to function effectively.
In his reaction, the Rector, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE lauded ICPC for painstaking effort to carry out ethics and integrity compliance and ACTU effectiveness index in Federal Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
While appreciating the commission for the fair ratings, he noted that the institution will not relent its total compliance for ethics and integrity and will continually strengthen the Anti-corruption and Transparency Unit of the institution effectively.
