The Management of Lens University, Ilemona, Kwara State extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Olofa of Offa land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Mufutau Muhammad Gbadamosi Okikiola, Esuwoye II, Ajagungbade I for his fatherly roles and contributions to the approval of Lens University by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Kabiesi’s efforts in making the Lens University a success cannot be overemphasized. The Management is overwhelmed and encouraged by the inclusive leadership of Kabiesi to transform Offa to a great city where academics flourish. The royal support of Kabiesi has been instrumental in the progress of Lens University.

Furthermore, the Management’s appreciation is extended to our emeritus professor Prof. Bayo Lawal, great scholars of repute in academia, seasoned administrators and professionals, financial experts for the tremendous roles played to achieve this remarkable feat. Lens University is your baby, and we believe you will nurture it to become the best among its peers.

On the final note, the University management gratefully appreciates Professor Olaniyi of University of Ilorin, Dr. Mustapha of Summit University, Alh. Usman Abdulmalik and the entire staff of Lens Polytechnic for believing in the dream and supporting it assiduously to become a reality.
