FEDPOFFA Rector Felicitates Muslim Community on Eid-El-Fitri Celebration

 

The Rector, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE on behalf of the Governing Council and Management has extended warmest greetings and felicitations to the Polytechnic Muslim Community on Eid-El-Fitri celebration, which marks the end of this year’s holy month of Ramadan.

In his goodwill message, Engr. Dr. Kadiri who enjoined the entire Muslim faithfuls to extend their closeness to Allah beyond Ramadan period, equally admonished them to celebrate Eid-El-Filtri in moderation and continue to show love to others, especially the less privileged. “Ramadan has ended, but good deeds continue,” he said.

He encouraged Muslims to take the opportunity of the celebration to reflect on the lessons of Ramadan and the values it teaches, which are self-discipline, love for one another and mutual understanding for a peaceful coexistence.

Speaking on the NIPOGA, the Rector charged all staff to be present during the games to ensure smooth operations and prayed to God for the event to be a success.

While wishing Muslims a fruitful celebration, he prayed to Allah to accept everyone’s fasting in the month of Ramadan as an act of Ibadah.
