‘She was a devout Muslim, caring mother’- Hon. Seun Oguniyi commiserates with Olofa of Offa Over Mother’s Death
The Honourable Member representing Ojomu Balogun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Ogbeni Seun Ogunniyi has condoled with His Royal Highness, HRM Oba Mufutau Mohammed Gbadamosi Esuwoye II and the entire royal family over the demise of the beloved mother of Kabiyesi, Alhaja Hawawu Awele Gbadamosi who passed away into the world beyond on the 5th of April 2025 at the age of 94 years.
In the condolence statement issued, Ogbeni Ogunniyi stated that “Mama was fondly called Iya Ijebu. She was a devout Muslim, a caring mother, one who was dutifully and industrious in all her undertaking. She strengthened the bond of love and unity within her family. The loss of a mother is a great and irreparable one. Therefore, our thoughts and prayers are with Kabiyesi and the royal family during this moment of grief. We pray that Almighty God will give them comfort.”
He therefore commiserates with Kabiyesi the Olofa of Offa, the royal family, and the entire people of Offa over the loss of a worthy great grandmother, grandmother and mother. He prays for the peaceful repose of the soul of Mama and prays to Almighty God to comforts Kabiyesi and the rest of the family and grants them the fortitude to bear the pain of the loss.
