FEDPOFFA Alumni Association Led By Comrade Ayuba Lauds Rector On FONPAA Award

The National Body of the Federal Polytechnic Offa Alumni Association led by Comrade Rahman Ayuba has congratulated the Rector, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE on his recent award of excellence by Forum of Nigerian Polytechnics Alumni Association at Sheu Musa Yara’dua centre, Abuja.

The FONPAA awarded the Rector for hosting a successful NIPOGA event for the first time in the history of the Polytechnic.

While presenting the award, the Chairman of the occasion, Engr. Dr. Nuru Muhammed congratulated the Rector on the success recorded during Nigerian Polytechnic Games hosted by the institution.

Speaking on the theme, titled, ‘Tertiary Education in Nigeria: A Comparative Analysis of Funding, Policies and Reforms in a Non Democratic and a Democratic Eras,’ the guest speaker, Sen. Henry Seriake Dickson laid emphasis on more funding for Polytechnics education to achieve its primary goals. He therefore promised to support the association in pursuing all it takes to achieve and give Polytechnic education proper funding.

Reacting to the award, the Federal Polytechnic Offa Alumni Association National President, Comrade Ayuba congratulated the Rector and described the Polytechnic as a shining example among other Polytechnics in Nigeria.

In his goodwill message, Comrade Ayuba wrote

“The Federal Polytechnic Offa Alumni Association extends its warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to the management, staff, and students of The Federal Polytechnic Offa, under the visionary leadership of Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin, FNSE, on the successful hosting of the 2025 NIPOGA Games (IJAKADI 2024).

“The Federal Polytechnic Offa is once again a shining example of excellence among Nigerian polytechnics, thanks to your superb planning and execution, dedication to youth empowerment, and service to national unity through sports.

“We are especially pleased to celebrate this occasion as the Forum of Nigeria Polytechnics Alumni Associations bestows upon you an Award of Excellence. The passion, perseverance, and invention that distinguish your leadership and the entire institute are demonstrated by this well-earned honor. Present at the event were the National President of FONPAA, R.T Hon. Anas Abba Adamu, the Registrar of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Mr. Gabriel Soko, the Bursar, Mr. Yusuf Tunde Moshood, the Polytechnic Librarian, Mr. Babalola Steven Oludayo, Federal Polytechnic Offa Chapter Alumni Association chairperson, Mrs Funmi Oby among others.
