Fedpoffa, Unilorin Survey and Geoinformatics Students Collaborate On Hydrography Survey Practical
The ND 1 Students of Surveying and Geoinformatics Students of the Federal Polytechnic Offa has collaborated with Surveying and Geoinformatics Students of University of Ilorin to carry out hydrograph survey practical.
The students were exposed to training such as GPS positioning, depth measurement at fixed points, simple bathymetric survey using echo sound among others.
The students were equally introduced to some of the hydrography instruments and their operating system.
