The Muyideen Okunola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has once again thrown its weight behind Kwara United ahead of their historic President Federation Cup final against Abakaliki FC, by sponsoring 30 Offa-based football stakeholders with branded Kwara United jerseys.
Confirming the development via a phone call with journalists in Lagos on Friday, the Chairman of Offa FC, Alhaji Omoluabi Azeez, described the latest gesture as a continuation of MOK’s unwavering commitment to football development. He also recalled MOK’s earlier promise of ₦100,000 per goal for the Harmony Boys in Saturday’s grand finale.
Alhaji Omoluabi lauded the MOK Foundation’s consistent contributions to sports in Kwara State, stressing that such support is crucial in inspiring youths to build meaningful careers in football and sports at large.
He further revealed that the MOK Foundation is poised to be a major partner in the upcoming Offa Preseason Tournament, noting that Kayode’s interest in sports development is “unprecedented and deeply impactful.”
Kwara United will face Abakaliki FC in the Federation Cup final on Saturday, June 28, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, with kickoff scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
