Ganduje appointed FAAN board chairman days after APC exit

Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has been appointed Chairman, Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

The announcement was made by the Special Assistant on Digital Media to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Gbenga Saka, during the inauguration of newly appointed FAAN board members in Abuja.

The development comes just days after Dr Ganduje resigned his position as APC Chairman, ending weeks of speculation about his next move.

His appointment is seen as a swift return to public service, this time in the aviation sector, where he is expected to oversee strategic decisions affecting the country’s airports.

With the inauguration, Dr Ganduje officially assumes duties as Chairman of FAAN’s governing board.
