MOK Donates Cash, WAEC Scholarship To Reward Academic Excellence
The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode Foundation has been awarded a Meritorious Award at the Annual Graduation Ceremonies of both Offa Grammar School and Hamdalat International School, recognizing its steadfast dedication to education, youth empowerment, and community development. The presentation which took place today at schools’ premises, celebrated the achievements of students from both secondary schools in Offa, Kwara state.
The MOK Foundation team, led by Executive Director Mr. Saheed Lawal, accepted the award on behalf of the founder, QS Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode. In his speech, Mr. Lawal commended the founder QS Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode for his commitment to educational excellence and highlighted various programmes that have significantly benefited OGS students in the past.
As part of the celebration, the MOK Foundation also donated cash to the both schools while in addition WAEC scholarships were offered to the top-performing SS2 students of Offa Grammar School in the Science, Arts, and Commercial categories. During the presentation, Mr. Lawal emphasized, “MOK will continue to be a partner in progress,” reaffirming the foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting educational initiatives.
The ceremony not only celebrated the graduating students but also reinforced the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and philanthropic organizations. MOK Foundation’s contributions underscore its mission to foster a brighter future for the youth of Kwara state and beyond.
