Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has shared heartfelt advice with his daughter, Temi, and her husband, singer Oluwatosin “Mr Eazi” Ajibade, during their wedding reception in Iceland in August 2025.
The couple, who previously held a wedding in Monaco on May 9 and a Yoruba traditional ceremony in Dubai in July, were praised by Otedola for their love and entrepreneurial drive, describing their union as “made in heaven.”
Otedola advised Temi to put her marriage first, telling her, “He’s your husband, your boss. There’s no more dad—don’t call me up.” He commended both for being ambitious entrepreneurs and urged them to remain united, settle disagreements privately, and never involve outsiders in their marital issues.
Concluding his speech, Otedola presented them with a significant wedding gift, encouraging them to “out-think, out-manoeuvre, and out-spend” in their ventures, and wishing them a blessed marriage.
Following the wedding, Temi changed her surname on social media from Otedola to Ajibade, a move that reignited discussions in Nigeria about whether women should adopt their husband’s surname or keep their maiden name.
