The management of Lens Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State, has cancelled all sign-out activities within and outside the campus until further notice.
This was contained in an internal memo dated October 7, 2025, and signed by the Registrar and Secretary to the Governing Council, Hammed Sarafa Olalekan.
According to the memo, the decision was taken to maintain order, ensure safety, and uphold the institution’s standards of discipline during and after examinations.
“The Management of Lens Polytechnic wishes to inform all students that all sign-out activities, including celebrations, gatherings, and related events within and outside the campus, have been cancelled until further notice,” the statement read in part.
The memo further warned that any act of non-compliance with the directive would attract appropriate disciplinary action.
Management, however, appreciated the students for their understanding and cooperation.
