MOK Foundation Marks World Food Day, Reaffirms Commitment to Ending Hunger

As the world commemorates World Food Day, the MOK Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring access to nutritious food for all, describing feeding the poor as an integral part of its mission and identity.

In a statement to mark the occasion, the Foundation emphasized that access to quality food is a fundamental human right and reiterated its dedication to turning compassion into action through sustainable agricultural initiatives.

“MOK Foundation believes that feeding the poor is not just something we do, it is part of our culture and identity,” the statement read. “Every harvest reminds us that true abundance is found in giving and in ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry.”

The Foundation’s ongoing agricultural support programs, including its own farmlands, have continued to make significant impacts across various communities in the state. Through these initiatives, the organization grows and distributes food to families in need, helping to alleviate hunger and improve nutrition.

The statement further encouraged collective effort towards achieving a hunger-free society. “Together, we can build a future where every home has food on the table and hope in their hearts,” it added.
