2026 Educational Support: MOK Foundation Free Waec Scholarship Lands In Oyun LG, Covers 15 Schools

 

The Muyideen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has extended the gesture to 15 secondary schools in Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State on Wednesday, November 27, 2025.

This took place on the same day the foundation distributed free 2026 WAEC Scholarship Forms to 17 schools in Offa Local Government.

The presentation ceremony, held at Modern Baptist Secondary School, Ijagbo, brought together school principals and education stakeholders from across Oyun LG.

The delegation from the MOK Foundation was led by Alhaji Tunde Yinka Salawudeen, who represented the organisation at the event.

Alhaji Salawudeen, who doubles as the Oluomo of Igbonnaland reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to ensuring that financially disadvantaged students across Kwara South are not denied the opportunity to sit for the 2026 WAEC examinations.

The principals were received by the Chairman of the All Nigeria Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPS), Oyun Chapter, Mr. Kazeem Qadir, who commended the Foundation for prioritizing education and supporting schools at the grassroots.

Mr. Qadir described the intervention as “a timely rescue for many families struggling with examination costs,” adding that the initiative will motivate students and reduce dropout rates in the area.

The 2026 WAEC Scholarship Programme now covers 32 schools across Offa and Oyun LGs, marking one of the largest private educational interventions in the zone.

The MOK Foundation continues to champion access to quality education while also investing in healthcare, empowerment, security support, sports development, and community welfare across Kwara State.
