MOK Foundation Extends WAEC Scholarship to Persons Living With Disabilities in Offa
The MOK Foundation, under the leadership of its executive director, Mr. Saheed Temitope Lawal, convened a meeting today with the leadership of the Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities (JONAPWD) in Offa during the celebration of JONAPWD international day. During this brief gathering, Mr. Lawal emphasized the importance of their ongoing partnership, stating, “We have come here in continuation of our long-term collaboration. We are pleased to announce that we will be providing this association with WAEC slots, as well as distributing specific items to members of the association in the coming days.”
Historically, the MOK Foundation has been dedicated to supporting individuals living with disabilities, having previously made numerous contributions aimed at improving their welfare. These interventions have included cash donations and the allocation of WAEC and JAMB examination slots to members of JONAPWD, reflecting the foundation’s commitment to enhancing educational opportunities.
In a further effort to bolster this collaboration, Mr. Lawal pledged to provide financial support to the association from his own pocket, affirming his personal investment in the wellbeing of individuals with disabilities.
