Senate Committee Confirms Three Ambassadorial Nominees

The Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs has approved the appointment of three non-career ambassadors nominated by President Bola Tinubu.

The confirmed nominees are Lateef Kayode Kolawole Are from Ogun State, Aminu Muhammad Dalhatu from Jigawa State, and Emmanuel Ayodele Oke from Oyo State.

Their confirmation followed a screening exercise conducted by the committee on Tuesday. This approval comes shortly after the Senate confirmed 68 other ambassadorial nominees last week, including former INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode, former presidential aide Reno Omokri, and former Interior Minister Abdulrahman Dambazau.
