Kaiama Students Union Commends MOK Foundation for Sponsoring WAEC, JAMB Scholarships for Indigent Students
The National Association of Kaiama Students (NAKS), National Headquarters, has commended the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation for sponsoring scholarships for selected Kaiama students in the 2026 WAEC and JAMB examinations.
In a press release dated January 18, 2026, the association described the gesture as a significant boost to educational development and youth empowerment within the Kaiama community.
According to the statement, two students — Saidu Madinat and Usman Nafisat benefited from the WAEC sponsorship, while Mahmud Hakeemah, Abubakar Usman Sadiq, and Muhammad Bashir Lafia received support for the JAMB examination.
NAKS said the intervention would ease financial burdens on the beneficiaries and their families, while encouraging academic excellence among students in the area.
The association praised the foundation for its generosity and commitment to supporting young people in their educational pursuits, noting that the initiative would inspire other students to remain focused and determined in their studies.
NAKS urged the beneficiaries to make effective use of the opportunity, remain disciplined, and uphold high academic standards, while serving as ambassadors of the Kaiama community.
The association also reaffirmed its commitment to promoting education, supporting outstanding students, and fostering a culture of excellence among Kaiama students at all levels.
The statement was signed by the President of NAKS, Muhammad Abdullah Sabi, through the Secretary, Abdullahi Uthman Bala, and announced by the Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Nurudeen.
