IN MANY occasions, people have heard the meaning of Lens from the horses mouth, without going extra mile to check what Lens stands for semantically, the visionary, astute and highly intelligent Proprietors have seen beyond the horizon, demystifying the meaning, the Proprietors’ quizzical glare is glaring, the future of Lens speaks more volume of greatness with solidified workforce.

THE SPATE of growth of Lens Polytechnic is massive since inception, the growth of any institution and organisation depends on a finesse leader, the leadership and administrative style of Lens Polytechnic is top-notch to produce skillful man power for national development.

IN ONE of the remarks of National Board for Technical Education official, he described Lens as a role model for other private Polytechnics in Nigeria, of course, Lens has metamorphosed from being a role model for only private institutions, myriad institutions now copy template of operation, they queue after Lens Polytechnic to see beyond.

WITHOUT mincing words, Lens has set many precedents that form technique in other institutions. One of the qualities of a good entrepreneur is innovation, doing new things in a distinct way. Year in, year out, new trends are unfolding in distinct dimensions.

NO DOUBT, the secret behind the free flow and tremendous growth of Lens Polytechnic Offa is God who has granted the leadership of the Polytechnic the wisdom to develop a resourceful template in terms of staffing, academic programs, staff development and sense of belonging. The leadership of the Polytechnic is passionate about the growth, progress, and welfare of both staff members and students in all ramifications.

DOING THINGS the same way can’t effect change, change is constant with innovations. The first of its kind get together programme at Lens Polytechnic kicked off on Wednesday 18 December 2024 and ended on Friday 20 December 2024. The three-day programme commenced with sporting activities where staff members were hosted at Zeems Sports Arena. The blissful moment featured football, snooker, ludo game and many lots, second day witnessed an impressive display of culture in different cultural attire, Lens is a typical definition of unity in diversity with intercultural relationship devoid of segregation and prejudice. The third day of the programme convoked staffers at the Polytechnic Permanent Site for an interfaith prayer session by Muslim and Christian Faithfuls in the morning before converging at the Imperial event center for an end of the year dinner party in grand style.

THE REMARKABLE finale of the three-day event at Imperial was full of Steeze and composure as jollity and merriness took over the hall. The gorgeous appearances of staff members qualified for Guinness world record and the kind of happiness displayed by the Proprietor, Principal Officers, and the entire staff members is that of a family bond. Like general mantra, all work without play makes jack a dull boy. Plaudits to the management for entrenching love and togetherness.

UNARGUABLY, from January to December 2024, it has been good news from one staffer to another. A substitute name for Lens means a progressive institution. A step into Lens either as a staff or student amounts to progress in multifold.

JANUARY to December worth celebration and thanksgiving for the gift of life. Lens Polytechnic is more than a workplace, it is like a family house where good fortune, growth, and progress smile at staffers and students.

THE DINNER party was full of funfair and merriness. In the tummy of a typical Lens staffer, it’s a free horse ride for any horseman without glitches. Kudos to the welfare committee and big thanks to the proprietors for giving the entire staff a beautiful sense of belonging. May Lens institutions continue to grow higher.
