On Tuesday April 22, 2025, Executive and Supervisory Committee members of Seamless Alausa Cooperative Multipurpose Society Ltd attended a pivotal one-day seminar organized by the Alausa Area Office. The event took place at the LASCOFED Multipurpose Hall on Wempco Road, Ogba, Lagos.

The seminar focused on enhancing Cooperative Societies’ understanding of Risk Management and Entrepreneurial strategies.

Mrs. Abiodun Ayotunde delivered an insightful presentation on “Risk Management: Benefits of Insurance in Cooperatives,” highlighting the importance of insurance in safeguarding cooperative assets and ensuring sustainability.

Mr. Tunde Soshina followed with a compelling session titled “Cooperative Entrepreneurship: A Pathway to Sustainable Prosperity,” emphasizing innovative approaches to cooperative business models.

Attendees also explored the newly released “Operational Guidelines for Cooperative Societies in Lagos State 2025,” providing a framework for compliance and effective management. The seminar featured exhibitions showcasing products crafted by various cooperative societies, demonstrating the sector’s creativity and economic potential.
