2025 World Culture Day: Hon. Seun Ogunniyi Graces Event In Kwara As Special Guest of Honour
The Kwara State House of Assembly Member representing Ojomu Balogun Constituency, Hon. Seun Ogunniyi has graced the celebration of 2025 World Culture Day held at the Kwara State Council for Arts and Culture in Ilorin on Wednesday, 21st May 2025.
World Culture Day is an annual global event endorsed by the United Nations for the observance and promotion of diversity and culture as a tool for unity, integration, and development. Kwara State joined the global community to commemorate the symbolic global event.
The event was organized through the office of the Senior Special Assistant on Culture & Tourism to the Governor, Hon Aramide Eyiwumi (Muka Ray) was done in collaboration with the Kwara State Council for Arts and Culture.
The event featured cultural performances, unique traditional outfits, village square sitting ambience, and a rich keynote lecture on the importance of the preservation of culture delivered by the Culture Veteran, Mr. Bisi Oyewole.
The highlight of the event featured award of recognition presented to the Executive Governor of Kwara State for his immense contribution and support to the development of culture in Kwara State.
