MOK Extends Warm Greetings to Muslims, Celebrates the New Islamic Year

Alhaji Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, the esteemed founder of the MOK Foundation and Principal Partner at Luxiar Constructions Limited, has expressed heartfelt congratulations to Muslims worldwide on the auspicious occasion of the new Islamic Year, Muharam 1447AH.

In his inspiring message, MOK emphasizes the theme of peace, solidarity, and unity among Muslims throughout the globe, as well as encouraging respectful coexistence with followers of other faiths. He highlights the deep significance of this sacred month within the Islamic calendar, noting that it is one of the four months during which engaging in acts of vice and warfare is strictly prohibited.

Furthermore, MOK draws attention to a poignant appeal made by the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, urging leaders across the world to work towards de-escalating tensions, particularly in the conflict between Iran and Israel. He underscores the necessity of prioritizing global stability and lasting peace for the benefit of all humanity.

Additionally, he specifically urges Muslims in Nigeria to observe the voluntary fasts of Tasu’a and ‘Ashura on July 4th and 5th, as prescribed by the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
