Pioneer Alumni President Writes From Canada To Appreciate Dr. Kadiri’s Achievements At FEDPOFFA
The Pioneer President of the Federal Polytechnic Offa Alumni Association, Dr. Ayo Adeyemi, FCIPM, FNIMN, PMP, CPM, has commended the institution’s Rector, Engr. Dr. Kamoru Oluwatoyin Kadiri, and his management team for their exemplary leadership and record-breaking accomplishments that have continued to position the Polytechnic as one of Nigeria’s foremost centers of academic and technological excellence.
In a congratulatory message titled “A Resounding Congratulations on Your Exemplary Leadership and Landmark Achievements,” Dr. Adeyemi described the series of recent milestones recorded by the institution as remarkable and worthy of national recognition.
He noted that the recent article by education columnist Olayinka Iroye, titled “The Federal Polytechnic Offa: A Rising Beacon of Excellence,” accurately captures the Polytechnic’s steady rise and transformational progress under Dr. Kadiri’s leadership.
Dr. Adeyemi highlighted several achievements, including the successful hosting of the 21st Nigeria Polytechnic Games (NIPOGA), described as the best in the history of the event, and the subsequent designation of the institution as the Sports Centre of Excellence for the North Central Zone by the Federal Government. He described these feats as clear evidence of the institution’s world-class infrastructure and organisational capacity.
He further commended the establishment of the Incubation Technology Centre by the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology, a recognition exclusive to the Federal Polytechnic Offa, as a major stride in promoting technological innovation and entrepreneurship.
The alumni president also praised the presentation of 81 academic programmes for accreditation by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), describing it as “a demonstration of the Polytechnic’s unwavering commitment to quality education and institutional growth.”
Dr. Adeyemi expressed delight at the achievements of the Polytechnic’s graduates, citing the President’s NYSC Honours Award won by Olaniyan Segun Damilola and the appointment of Ms. Olatomiwa Williams as Microsoft’s Middle East and Africa Growth Manager as testaments to the quality of education and training offered by the institution.
“In the face of unfounded rumours, you have chosen to let your record of achievements speak for itself,” he said, commending the Rector and his team for upholding values of discipline, integrity, and community development.
He concluded by lauding Dr. Kadiri’s “visionary and purposeful leadership,” describing it as the driving force behind the Polytechnic’s growing national reputation as a true citadel of learning and innovation.
