“On December 9th, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we at MOK Foundation made a donation of N300,000 to the Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities (JONAPWD) Offa, Kwara State chapter.
“This donation builds on our previous support for persons with disabilities in Offa local governments on November 18th. We are committed to empowering this marginalized community.
“Our founder, Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, was represented at the donation ceremony by Mr Moshood Tewogbola and others. The event took place at the Offa Descendants Union (ODU) Hall.
“We are grateful to the Chief Imam of Offaland, Sheikh Muhydeen Hussain, for his kind words about our efforts. Community solidarity is vital to support organizations like JONAPWD that advocate for the rights of disabled individuals.
“The chairman of JONAPWD Offa, Mr. Azeez Olusegun Folorunsho, also thanked us on behalf of the association. We are optimistic these funds will aid their programs to build a more inclusive society with equal opportunities.
“On this International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we renew our commitment to empowering marginalized communities. We believe in the boundless potential of people coming together for the upliftment of society’s vulnerable members.”
