ANCOPSS Offa Branch Rains Prayer On MOK For Disbursement Of 130 Waec Scholarship To Less Privileged Students In Offa LGs

 

 

All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools, Offa Branch has rained heaps on prayers on Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, founder of MOK Foundation for the disbursement of 130 Waec Scholarship to the less privileged students in both Offa and Oyun Local Governments in Kwara State.

The Secondary Schools Principal Association disclosed this through its branch Secretary who is a Principal of Moremi High School Offa, Chief Laolu Oyawoye during MOK weekly programme aired on TNT Radio Station, Ijagbo.

Chief Laolu noted that the selection process of the beneficiaries is neither influenced by MOK team nor the principals of the schools. He added that the method of selection is strictly based on merit without favour to any beneficiary.

He equally stated that the Foundation has forestall the menace of examination malpractice by registering students directly at their respective schools rather than giving them the money to go and register at miracle centres.

He therefore prayed for the founder of the Foundation, Alhaji Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode to continue to progress in all his endeavours. He prayed for the longevity of life, more prosperity and God’s unlimited favour and protection on the Founder of the Foundation for bringing succor to the needy through scholarship disbursement.

Recall that on 17th of January 2024, not less than 130 less privileged students benefitted from the Foundation’s largesse. The Chief Executive Director of the Foundation, Mr. Saheed Lawal while addressing press men stated that the MOK Foundation is a non-governmental and non-discriminatory philanthropic organization officially established in March 2023 with the clear vision of creating a better and more equitable world for all, especially the people of Offa, Oyun and some other parts of Kwara. He said the Foundation focuses more on the people at the grassroots, less privileged, indigents in the society and the people living with disabilities.

He said the Foundation will not relent its committed efforts to create ripple effect among the people at the grassroots through constant interventions and empowerment engagements.
