Engages Students On Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities In Accounting

The Proprietor of Lens Polytechnic Offa, Dr. Azeez Yisa FCA has enlightened the Accounting students of the Federal Polytechnic Offa on the Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities in the field.

The conference tagged, “The Accountants of Today,” Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities was held on August 8, 2024 at the Polytechnic Main Campus and featured different scholars in the field of accounting and finance.

Dr. Azeez while delivering his lecture as a keynote speaker exposed the participants to the knowledge and skills to thrive in the ever-evolving accounting profession.

During his engaging session drew from his wealth of experience as a chartered accountant, he stirred accounting to come alive for the audience, stressing the significance of becoming a chartered accountant and acquiring necessary skills to excel in the profession.

Also speaking, Mr. Adedayo Adebisi, ACA, a distinguished alumnus and Tax Consultant at Tax Problem Solvers in the United Kingdom in speech shared valuable perspectives on current trends in the profession and emphasizing the importance of networking and acquiring essential skills.

While commending the keynote speaker, the NAPAS President, lady Comrade Raji Elizabeth Omayoza, said the conference is aimed to empower students with the knowledge and skills to thrive in the ever-evolving accounting profession. She therefore appreciated the presence of the keynote speaker and other invited guests who graced the event
