2027 Elections: ADC Operating Like a Scam – Keyamo Alleges
Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has accused the African Democratic Congress (ADC) of employing deceptive practices—referred to as ‘419 format’—on Nigerians.
Keyamo mentioned this during his appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.
He believes that the ADC is not employing new tactics and, as a result, cannot mislead Nigerians before the 2027 elections.
“We are very familiar with each other; they are not strangers to us,” Keyamo stated.
Some of the tactics they are using are known as 419, which I used to prosecute individuals for during my time as an EFCC prosecutor.
“The approach they are using is outdated. Nigerians are already familiar with it, so it’s ineffective for deception. Presenting statistics, highlighting isolated incidents, and then generalizing from them won’t work.”
