FEDPOFFA Bans Wild Jubilation After Examinations, Warns Against Unruly Celebrations

The Management of the Federal Polytechnic Offa (FEDPOFFA) has announced a total ban on wild jubilation and unruly celebrations following examinations within and outside the Polytechnic premises.

In a statement signed by the Director of Special Duties, Mr. Tiamiyu Sarafadeen Ademola, on behalf of the Dean of Student Affairs, the institution expressed concern over the growing trend of post-examination celebrations characterized by excessive noise, disturbances, harassment of fellow students and passersby, reckless driving, physical altercations, and other violent conduct.

According to the statement, such behaviours not only endanger lives and property but also tarnish the image and reputation of the Polytechnic.

“All students are hereby informed that wild jubilation or any form of unruly celebration after the conclusion of examinations is strictly prohibited, both within and outside the Polytechnic premises,” the statement read.

Management further urged students to conduct themselves responsibly, noting that the completion of examinations should be marked with dignity befitting scholars and future leaders.

The statement also warned that any student caught engaging in violent conduct, wild jubilation, or any act capable of breaching public peace would face strict disciplinary action in line with the institution’s regulations.

FEDPOFFA assured that the directive was aimed at sustaining a safe and conducive environment for learning, while calling for the maximum cooperation of all students.
