3rd Reunion/Award: FEDPOFFA Alumni President Appreciates Council Chair, Rector, Other Stakeholders For Support

The Federal Polytechnic Offa Alumni Association has expressed appreciation to the Governing Council, management, staff and supporters of the institution for their contributions to the success of its third reunion and award night held in Lagos.

In a statement signed by the National President of the association and member of the seventh Governing Council, Comrade Rahman Ayuba, the alumni body described the event as a memorable gathering that strengthened unity and rekindled the spirit of loyalty among graduates of the institution.

Ayuba commended the Chairman of the Governing Council, Alhaji Moshood Ojikutu, the Rector, Engr Dr Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE, other members of the council, principal officers and staff of the Polytechnic for their support and presence at the event.

He said, “Your time and energy expended to celebrate with the Alumni Association have been registered on the pages of history, where those who made change possible can never be forgotten.”

He also extended appreciation to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Engr Kola Lamidi, Mrs Olatomiwa Williams and other members of the board for their continuous support and dedication to the growth of the association.

Ayuba said, “Flying from abroad to attend the event is a testament to the love you have developed for the progress of our alma mater. The association appreciates your commitment tremendously.”

The Alumni President acknowledged the contributions of notable members of the association, including captains of industries, entrepreneurs, technocrats, politicians and ex-officio members such as Dr Ayo Adeyemi. He said the reunion was more than a ceremonial event but an avenue to rekindle relationships, share ideas and reaffirm collective commitment to the development of the Polytechnic.

He said, “The event gave us the opportunity to reflect on our journey, where we are coming from, where we are and where we are heading in the interest of our alma mater.”

Ayuba also expressed gratitude to donors, sponsors and supporters whose contributions made the event colourful and successful. He described their gestures as instrumental in creating lasting memories for all participants.

Reaffirming the association’s commitment to unity and progress, Ayuba urged members to continue working together to strengthen the association and contribute to the growth of the Federal Polytechnic Offa.

He said, “Like our slogan says, we are always better together. United we stand, divided we fall. The Federal Polytechnic Offa made us, and we must continue to preserve and promote its legacy.”

The third reunion and award night brought together alumni from across the country and beyond, celebrating achievements, honouring outstanding members and reinforcing the association’s bond with its alma mater.
