The Sokoto State Government has announced that its graduate recruitment exercise will start on Monday, September 22, and run until October 6, 2025.
According to a statement by the Secretary of the Recruitment Committee, Gandi Muhammad, the initiative is aimed at creating job opportunities for qualified indigenes of the state.
Applicants are required to collect free forms from their respective local government areas and then complete the process online via the official portal: https://employment.sokotostate.gov.ng.
To apply, candidates must register with a valid email address and phone number, provide their personal details, and upload necessary documents such as:
Educational certificates
Proof of indigene
Birth certificate
National Identification Number (NIN)
Applicants will also need to take and upload a passport photograph during registration.
Muhammad emphasized that the exercise is free of charge, warning against multiple applications or payments to unauthorized persons, as these could lead to disqualification.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified through their registered email or via the portal, while further screening details will be communicated officially.
Governor Ahmed Aliyu had earlier approved the recruitment of 3,000 workers across all 23 local government areas as part of efforts to tackle unemployment and strengthen key sectors. The exercise will accommodate graduates with NCE, HND, or degree qualifications.
